What email marketing services include

Email marketing is still one of the highest-return channels in digital marketing because you own the list: no algorithm decides whether your audience sees your message. Done well, it turns one-time visitors and enquiries into customers, and customers into repeat buyers.

My email marketing services cover:

  • Deliverability: SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, sender reputation and list hygiene so emails reach the inbox.
  • List growth: sign-up forms, lead magnets and pop-ups that attract the right subscribers.
  • Segmentation: grouping contacts by interest, stage and behaviour.
  • Automated flows: welcome, lead nurturing, abandoned cart, post-purchase and re-engagement.
  • Campaigns: newsletters and promotions written and designed for your audience.
  • Reporting: clicks, conversions and revenue — not just open rates.
Who email marketing is for
  • B2B and services: lead nurturing keeps you top of mind through long decision cycles.
  • Online stores: abandoned cart, post-purchase and win-back flows drive repeat revenue.
  • Education: nurturing prospective students and parents through admission season.
  • Consultants and creators: a newsletter builds authority and inbound enquiries.

If you collect enquiries or customers but never email them after the first conversation, email marketing is probably the cheapest growth opportunity in your business.

How I run email marketing
Email marketing process: Fix delivery → Segment → Build flows → Optimise
How a Email Marketing & Nurturing engagement runs, step by step.
  1. Fix delivery. DNS authentication, sending domain, list clean-up and warm-up so emails land in inboxes.
  2. Segment. Contacts organised by service interest, customer stage and engagement.
  3. Build flows. Automated sequences for welcome, lead nurturing, sales follow-up and retention.
  4. Optimise. Subject lines, content, timing and offers tested monthly; inactive contacts managed to protect reputation.
What email marketing services cost

Email platforms such as Brevo, Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns or Klaviyo charge by contacts or emails sent; many have free tiers for small lists. Setup and management are quoted after a Free Growth Call, depending on how many flows and campaigns you need.

Because automated flows keep working after they are built, much of the value comes from the initial setup — a one-time investment that pays back every month.

Timelines and results
  • Week 1: deliverability fixes and platform setup.
  • Weeks 2–3: welcome and lead nurturing flows live.
  • Month 2: campaigns and further flows; first performance review.
  • Months 3+: testing and segmentation improvements compound.
Deliverability: getting into the inbox

Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders to authenticate their email and make unsubscribing easy. Without this, even good email marketing ends up in spam. The essentials:

  • SPF lists the servers allowed to send for your domain.
  • DKIM signs each email so receivers can verify it was not altered.
  • DMARC tells receivers what to do with emails that fail those checks.
  • One-click unsubscribe and low spam-complaint rates.
  • List hygiene: removing bounced and long-inactive contacts.
  • Consistent sending from a domain you own — never a free Gmail address for bulk email.
Lead nurturing sequences that convert

Lead nurturing is the process of staying helpful to people who enquired but were not ready to buy. A strong sequence for a service business might look like this:

  1. Day 0: a personal thank-you, what happens next and a booking link.
  2. Day 2: a short case study or result relevant to their enquiry.
  3. Day 5: answers to the most common objections — price, time, risk.
  4. Day 9: a practical tip or checklist they can use straight away.
  5. Day 14: a direct but friendly invitation to talk.

Each email should be short, specific and written like a person, not a brochure. Leads who click or reply are flagged for sales immediately.

Writing emails people actually read
  • Subject lines that are specific and honest rather than clever.
  • One message and one call to action per email.
  • Plain, conversational writing — most of the best-performing emails look like personal notes.
  • Mobile-first layout: short paragraphs and large buttons.
  • Personalisation beyond the first name: their service, location or past purchase.
Email marketing mistakes
  • Buying email lists — damaging to reputation and often illegal.
  • Sending only promotions, so subscribers tune out.
  • Judging success on open rates, which privacy features now inflate.
  • No automated flows, relying entirely on occasional newsletters.
  • Ignoring authentication, so emails go to spam.
Questions to ask before hiring email marketing services
  • How will you make sure our emails reach the inbox?
  • Which automated flows would you build first?
  • How will you grow our list without buying contacts?
  • Which numbers will you report on?
  • Will we own the platform account and the list?
Growing your email list the right way

Email marketing is only as strong as the list behind it. A healthy list is built from people who chose to hear from you:

  • Lead magnets: checklists, templates, guides or calculators that solve a specific problem in exchange for an email address.
  • Enquiry and booking forms with a clear opt-in for updates.
  • Website pop-ups timed sensibly — after a visitor has read for a while, or when they are about to leave.
  • Checkout opt-ins for online stores.
  • Events and webinars that attract your ideal audience.

Quality matters more than quantity. A list of 1,000 engaged subscribers usually produces more business than 20,000 contacts who never asked to hear from you — and keeps your sender reputation strong.

Segmentation and personalisation

Sending the same email to everyone is the fastest way to lower engagement. Segmentation sends each person what is relevant to them:

  • By interest: the service or product category they enquired about.
  • By stage: subscriber, lead, customer or past customer.
  • By behaviour: recent clicks, pages visited or purchases.
  • By engagement: active readers receive more; inactive contacts receive a re-engagement sequence or are removed.

Personalisation then goes beyond the first name: mentioning the service someone enquired about, their city or their last purchase makes emails feel written for them — and lifts clicks and replies.

Automated flows every business should have
  • Welcome flow: introduces you, sets expectations and shares your most useful content.
  • Lead nurturing flow: keeps enquiries warm until they are ready to talk.
  • Post-enquiry flow: confirms next steps and shares proof after a sales call.
  • Post-purchase flow: onboarding, tips and review requests.
  • Re-engagement flow: wins back inactive subscribers or removes them cleanly.
  • Abandoned cart and browse flows for online stores.

Once built, these flows work every day without extra effort — the reason email marketing services deliver such a high return over time.

Email marketing and the law

Responsible email marketing respects consent. Only email people who have opted in or have an existing relationship with you, say clearly who you are, include a working unsubscribe link in every marketing email and honour opt-outs promptly. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act adds obligations around consent and data use, and international subscribers may be covered by GDPR or similar laws. Following these rules is not just compliance — it also protects your deliverability.

Email and WhatsApp working together

In India, WhatsApp often gets faster responses than email, while email is better for longer content, documents and records. The strongest lead nurturing combines both: WhatsApp for quick confirmations, reminders and short personal messages, email for detailed information, case studies and newsletters. Both must respect opt-in, and messages should complement rather than repeat each other.

Newsletters that people look forward to

A regular newsletter keeps your business in mind between purchases and enquiries. The newsletters people actually open share something useful every time: a practical tip, a short case study, an answer to a common question, an industry change explained or a behind-the-scenes story. Promotions fit naturally when most of the email is valuable. Keep a consistent schedule — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — a recognisable sender name and a simple layout that looks good on phones. Over time, a good newsletter builds trust that makes every other campaign more effective.

Email for online stores

For ecommerce, email marketing is often the most profitable channel. Abandoned cart sequences recover sales from shoppers who left at checkout, browse abandonment reminds visitors about products they viewed, post-purchase emails encourage reviews and second orders, and win-back campaigns re-engage customers who have not bought for a while. Product recommendations based on past purchases and segments by category or spend make each message more relevant. These flows run automatically and often generate a significant share of store revenue.

Testing and improving email results

Small tests compound. Test subject lines, preview text, send times, email length, call-to-action wording and offers — one change at a time, on large enough segments to be meaningful. Measure clicks, replies and conversions rather than opens. Record each result so lessons build over time. Regular testing is part of how my email marketing services keep improving performance month after month.

Lead nurturing for B2B and high-value services

In B2B and high-value services, decisions can take weeks or months and involve several people. Lead nurturing keeps your business present throughout that time without being pushy. Effective B2B sequences share useful material for each stage of the decision: practical guides early on, case studies and comparisons while options are weighed, and clear pricing, process and guarantees as the decision approaches. Emails from a named person rather than a company address, written conversationally, earn more replies. When a lead clicks on pricing or case studies, the sales team is alerted so they can follow up while interest is high.

Plain-text or designed emails?

Both work. Designed emails suit product launches, catalogues and newsletters with many links; plain, personal emails often win for services, B2B and follow-ups because they feel like a message from a person. Test both with your audience and use each where it performs best.

How to measure email marketing
Email marketing KPIs: Inbox placement, Click rate, Revenue per email, List growth
The numbers I report on every month (illustrative).
  • Inbox placement and bounce and complaint rates.
  • Click rate — more reliable than opens.
  • Revenue or pipeline per email — what each send produces.
  • List growth — net new subscribers each month.

Self-check: what happens today when someone downloads a guide or fills your enquiry form? If the answer is "nothing automatic", a lead nurturing flow is the quickest email marketing win available.

FAQ

Email marketing questions, answered.

11 straight answers to what people ask me most about Email Marketing & Nurturing. Still unsure? Send a quick message — I reply within 24 hours.

Still have a question?

Ask me directly — no bots, no sales team.

Which platform do you use?

HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or Brevo — whichever fits your stack.

Can you fix a bad sender reputation?

Usually, with authentication, list pruning and a warm-up plan.

Do you write the emails?

Yes, in your voice, with AI-assisted drafting and human editing.

Is email marketing still effective?

Yes — you own the list, costs are low and automated flows keep producing results long after they are built.

What is lead nurturing?

Staying helpful to leads who are not ready to buy, with short, relevant emails until they are.

Which email platform do you recommend?

Brevo or Zoho Campaigns for many service businesses, Klaviyo for online stores — chosen by your needs and budget.

Why are my emails going to spam?

Usually missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC, a poor sending reputation or old, unengaged contacts. I fix all three.

How often should I email my list?

Often enough to stay useful — usually weekly to monthly — plus automated flows triggered by behaviour.

Can I buy an email list to get started?

No. Bought lists damage deliverability and break consent rules. I help you grow a real list instead.

Do you write the emails?

Yes — copy, design and automation are all part of my email marketing services.

How do you measure email marketing results?

By clicks, conversions, revenue and list health, not just open rates.
